Gold prices drop in Pakistan as global rates fall

The price of gold in Pakistan continues to drop, in line with the rates world over.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a drop of Rs1,600 to reach Rs347,100. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,368, bringing it to Rs297,582.

The global gold market has also witnessed significant changes, with the price of gold per ounce declining by $16 to reach $3,289.

Meanwhile, the silver prices remained unchanged, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver standing at Rs3,497, and the price for 10 grams of silver remaining Rs 2,998.
