Jack Osbourne recalls sharing Keanu Reeves’ quote at dad Ozzy’s funeral

Jack Osbourne has recently opened up about paying special tribute to his late father and musician Ozzy at his funeral last month.

The late musician’s son, who returns to his podcast for first time since Ozzy’s death, shared that he recited a heartbreaking quote from actor Keanu Reeves during his father’s funeral.

Jack broke into tears when he revealed that he was in Los Angeles when he got to know about his father’s passing.

He then mentioned about the quote that he actually used that always stuck with him over the years.

“I shared this at my father’s funeral, and it was an interview with Keanu, he’s on some nighttime talk show, and they asked him: ‘What do you think happens when you die?’” said the 39-year-old.

“Keanu’ answer was: ‘I don’t know what happens when you die, but what I do know is that the people that loved you miss you the most,’” stated Jack, as the quote was shared by Matrix actor during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in 2019.

While talking about his late father, Jack mentioned that he wasn’t just a father to him. He was his colleague as well.

“We worked together in so many capacities,” noted the American media personality

Jack recounted moving back in with late Ozzy, therefore, he was with him as a housemate in his late 30s, which he believed was awesome.

“Me and the kids were living here. Just a friend, a text buddy, a joke cracker,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Jack revealed that his father “passed away in England on July 22 at 10am UK time.

“I was in Los Angeles, I’d been back in LA for about a week, after my dad’s show in Birmingham I stuck around, hung out for a week with the family at the house, my kids it was a really amazing week,” added Ozzy’s son.
