Taylor Swift faces scrutiny for Travis Kelce’s NFL setback

Travis Kelce’s declining career drags Taylor Swift into controversy

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating in 2023 and he experienced his lowest career low the following year during the NFL season, which experts think has to do with the relationship.

The 35-year-old NFL star made a low record of 823-yard last season and failed to win the Super Bowl for his team third time in a row, which would have taken his career to historic heights.

NFL analyst and former coach, Eric Magnini, weighed in on Kelce’s deteriorating form and noted that his budding romance with the pop superstar, 35, was one of the reasons behind his poor performance.

“He had the relationship, he had the new TV show, he had the game show, he had the podcast, he was coming off a back-to-back short offseason,” Magnini, who coached the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, explained to Page Six.

“That is a lot of stuff for a guy that is that late in his career,” the NFL expert added.

Magnini went on to note that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end looks like he is “taking some time to reload,” adding that “this may be his last season.”

Sources close to the star athlete have previously shared that Kelce is gearing up for his final season this year and training regularly to end his football career on a good note.

“Taylor and Travis are soaking up every minute of this slower season together,” so that he can shift his focus completely to the sport during the next NFL season, a source shared earlier this month.
