Victoria Justice breaks silence on ‘we all sing’ meme feat. Ariana Grande

Victoria Justice says she got ‘death threats’ over the viral moment, worrying her mom

Victoria Justice is finally addressing that viral meme featuring Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies.

In a recent appearance on Mythical Kitchen’s series Last Meals, the former Nickelodeon star revealed she received “so much hate” — including death threats — over the now-infamous “we all sing” clip that resurfaced years after it was filmed.

The video, taken from a 2010 Popstar interview, shows Justice chiming in during a lighthearted exchange with her Victorious co-stars Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, and Daniella Monet.

When Gillies praises Grande’s habit of singing everything, Justice responds, “I think we all sing” — a line that sparked years of online hate.

“It was definitely a thing where it was like, ‘The internet hates Victoria Justice right now,’” she said. “Mob mentality is such a real thing.”

Justice clarified that she wasn’t trying to downplay Grande’s talent — just stating a fact. “We did all sing, okay?” she said. “The media outlet that put it out put this whole spin on it.”

The hate was so intense, she says, even her mom was affected. “I got, like, death threats,” she said. “I felt bad for my mom ’cause… she was freaking out.”

These days, Justice is taking it in stride. “I’m in on the joke,” she said. “I even say it myself all the time… I don’t care.”

Victorious aired from 2010 to 2013, with Justice playing lead character Tori Vega.
