Ana de Armas recalls facing real-life danger on film set

Ana de Armas reveals who invaded her movie set

Eden is the upcoming film of Ana de Armas and as the title suggest it was shot in Queensland, Australia.

The movie tells the story of a community living on The Galapagos Island in the 1930s.

So, it is expected that the premise and location of the film will be a likely invitation to critters.

Recalling who slithered onto their set, Ana revealed in an interview with Stellar Magazine that there were snakes and venomous ones.

“I remember at random times on set, people just screaming, “Snake!” and everyone running,” she recalled about the film she filmed last year.

To catch them, the actress said a snake catcher was hired. “Stopping the take right away – whatever was happening, whoever was talking – we literally dropped everything and ran away, waiting for the guy to come with the stick and take the snake out.” However, in the end, “But I think we were fine… no accidents happened!’”

In a separate interview, Ana seems to address the rumours of a romance with Tom Cruise.

Her response was arguably evasive. She told Elle Magazine, “Over the years, you get more used to it. You learn to find your corners, your privacy, your way of doing things, your lifestyle.”

‘I’m one of those who think there should be external boundaries, a barrier that’s quite visible to others and to oneself,” the Blonde star continued.

She also said, ”You can’t let the negative side of fame upset you, because then you won’t enjoy the beautiful aspects, but it’s essential to separate.”

“It seems incredible to have to say it, but we’ve forgotten that minimum of respect for others. Sometimes we have to make an abrupt stop so others are aware of your reality, but, well, I find my way. When I want to disappear from the map, I do,'” Ana concluded.
