Kate Hudson shares candid thought on ‘Running Point’

Kate Hudson looks back at shooting of ‘Running Point’

In Running Point, Kate Hudson runs a basketball team. But during the shooting, she said she suffered a fair share of injuries.

During an interview with People, the actress said, “I remember one time I had this big bruise on my left thigh, and I was getting into bed and [my fiancé Danny Fujikawa] was … like, ‘Babe, what’s going on?’ And it was like massive. And I was like, ‘Oh, that’s weird. Something’s wrong.’”

In the same interview, Kate revealed the cause of the “massive” bruise when her character Isla kept banging her leg into the drawer in the third episode.

“And then I was like, ‘Oh wait, the drug drawer.’ That’s all. I have been hitting a drug drawer for like two weeks,” she revealed. “Yeah, you know, the war wounds.”

But the actress shared her solution to the on-set challenges was “A lot of drinking with a lot of boys. We liked our little after work cocktail.”

Kate’s Running Point is streaming on Netflix.
