A plant found in the forest areas of West Champaran district of Bihar is considered a panacea for treating stones. Experts believe this plant to be many times more potent and beneficial than Patharchatta. Known as Apamarg in Ayurveda, it is also commonly called Chidchita.

Shubham Srivastava, a medicinal plant expert with 10 years of experience, explains that Apamarg grows easily anywhere. While beneficial for various health conditions, it is primarily used to treat stones.

Consuming just 5 to 10 grams of Apamarg throughout the day can eliminate stones up to 20 to 25 mm in size. The key is to consume it following Ayurvedic practices. According to Shubham, grind up to 10 grams of Apamarg root with water.

Drinking this mixture helps dissolve stones. Consuming it with cold water is believed to break down stones located throughout the body, while consuming it boiled in lukewarm water is thought to specifically target and break down kidney stones.

Experts suggest that this treatment can eliminate small stones within a few days. However, stones up to 20 to 25 mm in size may require continued consumption for an extended period. For optimal results, it is recommended to consult a qualified doctor before use.
